mostly i just edit videos for myself, but i have edited professionally for someone else before and am open to doing it again.

from february to october of 2023 i edited 16 videos for wings of fire youtuber the jade mountain archive, plus i came back for one more in july 2024. most of those videos now have over 100k views, with three of them having over 200k views. here's a handpicked selection of those videos to give you an idea of what i can do.
NOTE: there are some minor bits throughout these videos that were edited by jma after-the-fact without my consent. if something looks like it wasnt edited by me, there's a good chance it wasn't.

NOTE: the weird pace-break at 0:31 was not me, blame jma for that lol. also i didn't edit anything after 0:39. i mean, i tried to edit 0:39 to 0:47 but jma replaced it with an honestly better version of what i did.
Wings of Fire Memes Vol. 10 - Dankness of Dragons
most of the memes of fire videos are pretty similar in style but this one is a bit unique. it's a bit more etherial and a bit more absurdist.

in january of 2023 i applied to edit for a gaming youtuber with over 400k subs called cjya. i didn't make the cut, and fair enough, as i now realize this is pretty unfocused and choppy, and also doesn't include enough failed attempts, among other things. if i were to do this now, it'd be a lot better. (source: trust me bro.) i just put this here to show that i can indeed make gaming videos, plus there's still some things here i like.

generally i don't put too much effort into editing the videos for my music channel, since the focus is supposed to be the music and not the actual video, but i decided to put some extra effort into this one since i didn't feel like i put as much effort as i usually do into the music. its got lots of moving parts, like the WoF Explained Bad video, as well as some cool flashy stuff and some fancy custom backgrounds i made myself in OBS.

The Jade Mountain Archive's Discord server was a great time
it's pretty old, but it's a real classic. definitely my first "real" "good" video. this video is also the reason why jma decided to hire me in the first place. i don't want to spoil much beyond that (totally not me being to lazy to describe this video)
